Grain-Free Duck with Sweet Potato & Orange (Small Kibble)

A novel protein in a genuinely small kibble, which is a rarer combination than it sounds.

Duck is uncommon enough to be worth trying when chicken and beef are out, and this is one of the few recipes where it comes in a small breed kibble rather than a standard one. That matters more than owners expect. A dachshund has a long narrow jaw and small teeth, and a piece of kibble built for a bigger dog is awkward to pick up and harder to chew, so they give up partway through and walk off. Small kibble removes the mechanical problem, novel protein removes the dietary one.
