Chicken with rice is the combination vets reach for when a dog needs feeding but not challenging. Rice is easier on a recovering gut than a rich grain-free recipe, and chicken is the protein least likely to add a second problem. This is a plain, well-made everyday food rather than a showpiece, and it is priced accordingly.
