British grass fed lamb has a heavier, gamier smell than chicken or turkey, and smell is what gets a bored dog back to the bowl. 65% total meat, minimum 35% freshly prepared and gently cooked at 82 degrees rather than blasted, which is what protects the protein and, frankly, the smell. Mint and fennel are in there for the digestive side, not decoration.
